ArmsUp Motorsports has been campaigning F2000 cars since its inception in 1998, growing from a one-car prep shop to maintaining a team of 10 F2000 cars. Team owner Gregg Borland has guided the Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin-based team to race wins and championships in SCCA National Formula Continental and Formula Atlantic. No stranger to pro racing, ArmsUp Motorsports has scored podium finishes in the Toyota Atlantic Championship, Cooper Tires USF2000 Zetec Championship and the F2000 Championship Series. In 2018, ArmsUp Motorsports will look to continue its run of success in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda.

BN Racing burst onto the Mazda Road to Indy scene in 2017, in a partial season in USF2000 that included some headline results. The Chicago-based squad’s rise continued in 2018, adding a Pro Mazda Championship team alongside its USF2000 team with a two-car effort. 

In a little over a year BN Racing has become an established front running team in both catergories, with race wins, podiums, pole positions and lap records strewn across its impressive first full season in 2018. BN Racing encompasses a professional, modern approach to racing and an instilled desire for success.

The team is led by Englishman Bryn Nuttall, who has an extensive background in many areas of motorsport, including working as a driver coach and manager, mechanic, engineer and engine specialist with most notable success to date in winning the 2015 X30 World Championships.

Newman Wachs Racing was formed in 2005 by late actor and IndyCar team owner Paul Newman and long-time racing friend Eddie Wachs to aid the development of young drivers in Champ Car’s Cooper Tires Presents the Atlantic Championship Powered by Mazda. Among the drivers to go through the NWR program were JR Hildebrand, John Edwards and Simona de Silvestro. After a seven-year hiatus, Newman Wachs Racing has returned to racing, competing in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda on the Mazda Road to Indy Presented by Cooper Tires.

Pabst Racing has been preparing winning racecars since 1983. The Pabst team was started by Augie Pabst Jr., former sports car racing legend from the 1950s and early 1960s who won many races and championships throughout his career. Current President Augie Pabst III (former driver as well), took over the business in 1991. By 1998 Augie III decided to focus on owning and maintaining a wide variety of winning racecars including SCCA Spec Racer, Shelby Can-Am, 911 Porsche, Ford Mustang GT-1 and primarily Van Diemen Formula 2000 cars.

SOL.O Racing was formed to have a unique competitive environment for driver Mathias Soler-Obel in the USF2000 Championship. The team is based in Atlanta, GA with professional and experienced people involved in the team.
The name SOL.O comes from the last names of Mathias: SOL from Soler and O from Obel. Also, the word “SOLO” in Spanish means “only or unique”, giving a particular Latino touch to the name of the team.

Swan-RJB Motorsports is a new partnership between RJB Motorsports and Swan Motorsports that will compete in the Cooper Tire USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda in 2018. Swan-RJB Motorsports is a championship-winning race team based in Brownsburg, Indiana.  Located just minutes from Indianapolis Motor Speedway, they are in the heart of the Motor Racing Capital of the World.  As a component of the new operation, RJB Motorsports has two seasons of experience in the Mazda Road to Indy Presented by Cooper Tires, competing on the biggest stage in North American racing, alongside the Verizon IndyCar Series. Swan Motorsports has won 12 Championships with 10 different drivers, from karting to Pro Formula Atlantic, Indy Lights, and SCCA. Swan-RJB Motorsports Team Manager Mirl Swan has won races and championships as a driver in karting and formula cars, and he was also a Crew Chief for the title-winning Dorricott Indy Lights team.

2018 will mark Team Benik’s second season in the single-seater racing series after years of successful karting seasons in North America. The campaign in USF2000 will be bread through a similar program to the top line US Benik Kart team which has taken several drivers to success.

Owned and operated by long-time karting industry members Ben Cruttenden and Nick Mitchell, Team Benik operates out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where the team’s USF2000 cars are prepared. Combining the expertise of personnel from both teams, Team Benik will provide great technical expertise when the Benik squad take to the track.

Team Pelfrey is built upon a strong platform that is geared towards achieving success.  Rather than focusing on results, it is important to focus on factors that contribute towards success and work cohesively towards maximizing them.  Driver development and engineering are treated with equal importance when it comes to the on-track aspect.  Away from the on-track action, the team works hard to brand themselves and, therefore their drivers, in a fashion that provides value towards current and prospective partners.  Team Pelfrey drivers will be suitably prepared and educated at the Mazda Road to Indy level as they look to further their careers towards becoming a professional in the top echelon of the sport.
